Charlie Yang

Charlie Yang is a 2024 graduate of Georgetown University Law Center’s LLM program, where he earned his Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree with a certificate in Financial and Securities Law.

At Georgetown Law, Charlie studied Mergers & Acquisitions, Transaction Structuring, Securities Regulation, and Business and Finance fundamentals, gaining a more comprehensive understanding of business and transactional practices. During this time, he also interned as an analyst at the Fudan University Yiwu Research Institute, providing consulting reports for Chinese enterprises, focusing on Sino-American relations to support their overseas expansion.

Before coming to the U.S. to pursue his law degree, Charlie obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from Peking University in China, where he cultivated a strong interest in corporate law and contract law. While there, he interned in the legal department of a Beijing technology company, gaining experience in commercial arbitration, overseas financing, and other corporate law matters.
Charlie is a native Mandarin Chinese speaker and is proficient in English.
